Idea net settings

Idea GPRS settings for android
Idea does not provide GPRS settings for all androids phone like Samsung galaxy S (as per 2012 idea consider it to be not supporting 3G and it is said we use the handset NOKIA). In order to use your GPRS in an android follow the steps. If you want to use 3G, you need to follow these steps.

Step 1

Go to settings then select wireless and network then go to Mobile networks, choose Access points then select create APN
Change the following
Name: idea_gprs (you can give any name you wish)
APN: internet or INTERNET
Keep all the other options unchanged
Then save it

Step 2

In the Mobile networks enable the Use Packet data option
If you want to use 3G network only in the Mobile network choose Network mode and make it WCDMA only
Step 3
Enjoy the GPRS…………..
